Monday 20th October, 2025 Barcelona

 We arrived in Barcelona this morning, and again I still wasn't feeling 100%,so again stayed on board, with quite a few others.  I was able to spend a good hour in the hot tub.

We had a change of Butler today - Her name is Sydonie, and she is lovely😃Very attentive. 

There were at least 14 ships waiting to dock

The ship was just over an hour late leaving this afternoon, as the port seemed very busy

When she escorted us to dinner, she offered to make me a hot lemon & honey drink before bed, and then said she would deliver one to the cabin at 9am tomorrow morning.  

Sunday 19th October, Marseille

 We woke in Marseille this morning to find showers and cooler weather.

We were both feeling quite tired and I still wasn't feeling great, so as we had been to Marseille before we decided to stay on board.  

I managed to pick a time between showers to have about 45mins in the hot tub, which was great.😀 We had lunch at the One Pool Bar on Deck 18, and then spent a relaxing afternoon in the Top Sail Lounge.

Saturday 18th October, 2025 - Cruise time

This morning I received a message saying, that she had not received a cofirmation, but that hopefully, she would get it before we needed to leave!!! I told her that if we hadn't heard from her by 10.15am, we would walk to a taxi rank, about a block away !!! We had checked it out on the way back from dinner last night.  So, we left the apartment at 10.30am and walked around the block to the taxi rank.  Waited about 5 minutes, and were at the Cruise terminal, and in the designated Yacht Club Check In, with champagne & nibbles by 11.15am, and were on board in the Top Sail Lounge by 11.30.  am

Our cabin was ready by 12noon - home for the next 20 days

We had lunch at the One Pool Bar on Deck 18

We waited on the top deck to see the ship sail, 

and then went for dinner in the Le Muse, Restaurant

Friday 17th October, 2025 - Genoa

 Today was John's birthday 🎂🎂

Unfortunately, I was quite unwell, had one of my unexplained episodes during the early hours of the morning, and seemed to last for quite a long time.  As a result, I spent to major part of the day trying to get over it !! not what I had planned.  

John, went for a few walks around the city, and we then went out for dinner to a Pizza place.  

John had been and checked it out during the day, so we walked to it around 6pm, only to find that they didn't open for dinner until 7pm, so we found a quiet bar close by and had a drink before heading back for Pizza, which was very good.

During the day, I had contacted the owner of the apartment to organise a taxi for tomorrow morning.  She said it was not problem & she would let me know after she received confirmation.  By 9pm tonight, there was no confirmation, so messaged her, didn't hear anything.
