Flaam,(Floom) Norway 17th July, 2017

We arrived in Flaam at around 8am after sailing up the Auriands Fjord, which is a side arm of Norway's longest fjord the Sogne Fjord.  The scenery was absolutely spectacular.

The ship docked in Flam, a very pretty little town even in the rain and a little sleet.  Again, we had been here before, however last time, we did an all day excursion to Voss. so didn't get a chance to wander around the town.

The town is home to the famous Flamsbahn Railroad, which is the steepest railroad in the world.  We spent some time at the Museum, which was very good. There were stall of food around the back of the town which included Thai Curry, Fish soup, Chinese and a few more.  Being over the rain, we headed back to the ship for another spa, and the mandatory drinks :)  The had been invited to have dinner in the Galaxy Restaurant, on Deck 16.  The views as we sailed from Flam at 7.00pm were fantastic.
