We continued our visits to famous London Pubs again today, after a very easy morning. This Pub is the Prospect of Whitby and is on the Northern bank of the Thames River at Wapping. It was built in 1520 and is thought to be the site of oldest riverside tavern in London. Charles Dickens and JMW Turner are said to have been customers
We then decided to catch a cab to Canary Wharf
and travel back to Westminister by
boat
We called into a pub near Westminster, for a drink and had a lovely conversation with a lovely local couple, before heading to Westminster Station
to catch the train to Victoria Station.
We had dinner at a pub opposite the Victoria Palace Theatre, before attending the evening performance of Hamilton
