London 21/9/2022

We caught the No 15 Bus into Covent Garden for a visit to the Royal Opera House and a spot of souvenir shopping a the markets. Then off to visit a couple of old   London
Ye Old Cheshire Cheese is one the few remaining ChopHouses from the 17th Century and a pub has stood here since 1538.  It was rebuilt in about
1667 after the Great Fire of London. This is John sitting in the favourite seat of Dr Samuel Johnson

Next stop was The Old Bell on Fleet Street.  It was originally built in 1678 by Sir Christopher Wren, to accomodate Stone Masons working on a nearby project.
