London Apartment
Our Apartment Building in Paris

Parking Paris Style

We left our apartment in Paris, after having some difficulty getting a Taxi, and headed for Gare du Norde (railway station), luckily we had allowed plenty of time as the traffic was incredible. We checked through Customs and waited for the Eurostar. The Eurostar train trip was fantastic - fast, quiet and comfortable. Soon after leaving the station the hostess arrived with champagne, followed by lunch, which was 3 courses and red wine, so glad we booked 1st Class. We spent the whole journey talking to a lovely couple from London, who gave us many suggestions of where to go, some of which were already on our list. We then caught a London Taxi, like you see on TV, to our apartment. The apartment is great, the best yet, fully self contained and well appointed. (the washing machine is going at the moment), while we have French cheese, biscuits and red wine all personally imported from France - life's tough.

  4. I'm with Mel, thanks for the yuk photo of your toe......it was great to see!!!! NOT!!
This is why they have fiat 500's in europe, so u can park like that :)I love it!!!
Things in Sydney are crazy this weekend, we had a hat parade at daycare yesterday and Charli didn't really follow the rest of the kids, she was too excited to show me her handy work with the paint brush and masses of glitter. Eventually after stuffing her face with lots of sugar I got her in the car, but she refused to put a nappy on....we attempted to do a wee on the potty but nothing happened so I was brave and decided to drive the 10mins home with just knickers on, we hadn't had any accidents all day:)
The 10 min drive turned into 1 hr 30 mins, every person was trying to get to the airport and we got stuck and couldn't change ways!!! Hence we had to pull the car seat apart when we got home to wash it, yuk again!!! Then when we got home missy fell over and grazed both her knees, blood and all!! Hopefully she wakes up ok today.
Glad to hear u are having fun, love all the photos
    Jenn
