Saturday 11th May, 2024 - Brussels

We spent the morning around the apartment, catching up on washing, and relaxing, and then decided to catch the bus into the Centre of the City.  We are about a 10-15 min bus ride from Brussels Centraal, 

where we were able to buy a transport card and also a data sim, found a Starbucks for coffee and a donut 

We spent the majority of the afternoon in the square not far from the Station.  It was alive with people, a craft market and lots of music.

We had a late lunch at one of the Ommegang which is right in the middle of the square, and had our 1st Belgium Beer. 😀

Caught the bus back to the apartment, for a while, and then ventured out around the neighbourhood for dinner of Shrimp Croquettes and salad, sitting opposite the Town Hall for Saint Gilles
