Belfast to Athlone 30.10.2012

We left Hilltop B&B and decided to make our next stop Athlone, which is right in the centre of Ireland. After being on the road for about 1/2 hr, and luckily having been driving around in circles, John realized that he had left his phone at the B&B, so back to Hilltop Lodge we went!!
Again the drive was so picturesque. Lots of roads only wide enough for 1 car, and gorgeous little villages. We had made a booking for the Prince of Wales Hotel, which took a little while to find. Lovely room, and right near the centre of town. Being a little over pub food - we decided Chinese was the go!
