29th September,2018

We left the Carpenters Arms at Tonbridge heading back to London and came across a beautiful timber framed mill, that is now a pub - great place for lunch.
The Gomshall Mill dates back to the 17th Century and is on the banks of the River Tillingbourne.
It has an olde world charm with log fires and a great riverside dining area.
The river Tillingbourne runs directly beneath the building and the waterwheel can be seen inside the building.

It was a working mill until 1953.

After a lovely lunch we headed towards Windsor,

and being a weekend it was overcrowded and parking was impossible, so after driving around and getting totally frustrated we headed for Heathrow to return the hire car and the check in to the hotel for the night
