Tuesday 23rd August, 2022 -

 After the stress of not having accommodation booked for last night, before leaving the hotel this morning we booked accommodation for tonight.

We left in search of the Leigh Court Tythe Barn  that John was wanting to see, we found the Barn but unfortunately, it is only open Thursday - Sunday.  He was able to get a couple of photos of the outside though.

From here we continued on to Worcester to visit the Cathedral.  

We didn't know anything about Worcester Cathedral, but were pleasantly surprised at how lovely it is, and to find out that it is the burial place of King John and  Arthur Prince of Wales who was the eldest son of King Henry V11. who died at the age of 15 leaving his younger brother Henry to succeed to the throne, known as Henry V111.

                                

There is an amazing pipe organ and as usual some amazing stain glass windows

We had already checked in to our hotel earlier in the day, when we found it quite by accident !! and had spotted a nice pub close by, so after leaving the cathedral we went to the Fox Inn for a bit of relaxation drinks and dinner before driving 2 minutes down the road to the Bank House Hotel for the night.
