The plan for today was to meet Jo and Chris for lunch at the Globe Hotel, where we had been moored overnight, but Jo messaged saying they would have lunch before coming across to meet us. The pub opened at 12noon so we went and had a cavery lunch and sat and updated some of the blog (using the pub's wifi). Jo and Chris didn't arrive until about 3pm, so after a drink we headed down to the boat, and cruised through the Snarestone Tunnel, which is only 200 yards in length, and then turned around at the winding hole at Snarestone Wharf
before heading back to the Globe and moored for the night.
