Wednesday 22nd May, 2024 - Narrow Boat

We left our mooring a little later this morning, hoping the rain would clear !!!

Before we left Napton, we had been advise that there had been a landslide along the Coventry Canal.  We came upon this quite soon after leaving, fortunately, the canal was open, but advise was to go very slow and stay in the centre of the canal. 

The weather did not improve all day, and John stood in the rain for about 5 hours, on & off, before we moored for the day.  Lucky for me - I got a bit of cross stitch done 😀
