We managed to get out of Paddington without any trouble and headed to our accommodation at Brook Marston Farm.
There was a Wedding at the at the Hotel, and someone at reception, unfortunately checked a guest attending the wedding into the room we were supposed to have, which meant we had a tiny little upstairs room. We were not impressed, and asked to change, but all rooms had been allocated at that point, so we had no choice to stay in the room.
We went from here to Tamworth later on Saturday afternoon to catch up with our friends Jo, Chris and the 2 little ones Jack and Emily. We had a lovely meal at the local pub and went back to Jo & and Chris's to sit around talking,
laughing and watching the last night of the Proms, before driving the 10 mins to our tiny room......
