We left Castleford at 8am this morning in the headed for Selby. It took about 6 hours to get there, the last hour being very slow as the canal was heavy with weed.
We didn't get to Selby until mid afternoon, unfortunately too late for Andy & Daphne to be involved in the bell ringing.
The canal at Selby is bright green due to the amount of weed.
