We motored down the lock towards the Navigation Pub and moored there.
We caught a Taxi to the ASDA Supermarket, actually looking to buy some folding chairs, and see if we could find a wifi device for the computer - no luck with either of these, but we were able to get plenty of supplies for the next few days.
Back at the Navigation Pub, there was a Charity event, with live music, including covers of Bon Jovi, Abba, Pink. Check out the dog in the window !!
and Tina Turner and many more, until well into the evening, which we enjoyed. We ended up chatting for at least 45 mins with a lovely local couple, Steve and Raven, before getting back onto the narrowboat.
